Congratulations to the eight Somers High School student-athletes who officially signed their letters of intent to play collegiate sports at the NCAA DI and DII level on November 16.

The student athletes were joined by their families and members of the Somers High School Athletics Department and Administration for a National Letter of Intent signing ceremony in the gymnasium.

Student-athletes are Jared Googel Lafayette University Men’s Track and Field; Evan Carway Adelphi University Men’s Baseball; Jake Polito Naval Academy Football; Lyndsay Gill College of the Holy Cross Women’s Track and Field; Lauren McCartin Yale University Women’s Lacrosse; Madelyn Lyle Wofford College Women’s Lacrosse; Ava Guidice Fordham University Women’s Soccer; and Teagan Ryan University of Colorado Boulder Women’s Lacrosse.
