Constitution Day
Constitution Day was Friday, September 17. “We the People” of Primrose Elementary celebrated by wearing our Star Spangled attire. Many classrooms set aside time to make Classroom Constitutions. They prioritized their roles and responsibilities in our school community.
“Signing our class rules is a lot like signing the Constitution,” one student noticed.
Many classrooms watched a video about citizenship and how this important document came to be. Finally, students wore red, white, and blue and took part in a special Pledge of Allegiance on Friday morning.
“From room to room, our students talked about respect, kindness, responsibility, and citizenship,” says Assistant Principal Meg Benedetto. “All the things that make a tight knit community.”
