Become a VIPS - Volunteers in Public Schools!

-
The children in Somers Schools are looking for VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools)! Do you have a special interest or skill? Do you enjoy spending time with children? Do you have limited time or plenty to spare? There are opportunities for everyone in the Somers Schools. Some volunteer opportunities are just a one-time commitment, such as being an interview subject for a student. Other opportunities are more seasonal, such as weeding the school garden with the children, or helping to build sets for school musicals. Still other opportunities could be done on a weekly or monthly basis, such as reading with a child in class. Whatever your interests, abilities, or availability, the children of Somers Schools invite you to visit and become a VIPS!
