Bringing Classroom Learning to Life!
As part of their class curriculum, SIS 5th graders have been exploring the culture and traditions of the Nez Perce Native American Tribe. To bring it to life, students attended an engaging assembly with JR Spencer, a Nez Perce storyteller, flute player, and native crafter. JR shared meaningful stories that have been passed down through generations, offering students a deeper understanding of the tribe’s history and heritage.
