    Mission Statement
    The mission of the Somers Intermediate School Library is to promote a love of learning and reading, and to teach information literacy and research skills.

    Our school library provides books, e-readers, DVDs, books on tape/CD, reference materials, and online subscription databases to support the curriculum for grades three through five. The Library has 20 netbooks for student use, all with Internet capability.

    Library Hours 
    Monday - Friday 
    9:00 am - 3:20 pm
    Circulation Guidelines
    Third grade may borrow two books for two weeks.
    Fourth and fifth grade may borrow three books for two weeks.
    *Additional books may be checked out for research purposes with Mr. Behling's authorization*
     Students with overdue books may not check out any new materials until late books are returned
    Students will be responsible for purchasing a replacement copy of any lost or damaged book (lost books in good condition may be returned at any time for a refund)
