Washington D.C. Trip Information
Dear 8th Grade Parents
The Washington D.C. Parent Meeting was held last night, September 18th. All registration instructions were given to parents at this meeting. Necessary forms were also distributed. If you were unable to attend the meeting, we have attached the PowerPoint presentation and necessary forms needed to register your child for the Washington DC trip. In order to secure a spot, all students need to be registered for the trip by Friday, October 6th.
Registration Information: all students must be registered in two ways:
- Register with our Tour Group: WORLD STRIDES
The information for this is on the form Registration Information from World Strides. This is an online registration. Go to https://spark.worldstrides.com and follow the directions to register and pay the $150.00 deposit to insure a spot on the trip by Friday, October 6th. Our tour code is TDPAND4 - Register with Somers Middle School
There are three additional forms that need to be filled out and returned to either Mrs. Pepe or Mrs. Klock by Friday, October 6th. The three forms are the Cell Phone Agreement – The Behavior Agreement and the SMS Registration form with all Insurance Information and Emergency Contact information. You must print these forms and return the paper copy with your child.
You can go through the presentation to get additional information and clarification on the registration process.

8th Grade Washington D.C. Parent Meeting
We are happy to announce that the current 8th grade will be returning to Washington D.C. in May 2023.
The dates of the trip are Wednesday, May 17th through Friday, May 19th, 2023.
There will be an informational meeting for parents of students who wish to attend the trip on Thursday, October 13th. Registration information, itinerary and general trip information will be shared with you at this time. There will be time for questions.

Time: 7:00 PMIf your child is interested in attending this trip it is very important one parent/guardian attend this informational meeting for registration information.
