    Welcome to Somers Central School District, a community of life-long learners full of purpose and drive to inspire, engage, and ignite a passion in our children. Our mission is to educate the whole child by equipping each with 21st century knowledge & skills, emphasizing social-emotional-physical wellness, and modeling a spirit of global citizenship.

    Educating our children to succeed in a global society is no easy task -- it clearly takes the combined efforts of teachers, parents, students, staff, and community members to accomplish this lofty goal.  I encourage you to become actively involved in our schools and join with us as we move "Forward in Excellence".  Our children are our community's greatest asset, and they are the leaders of tomorrow.

    I am proud of the success we have achieved in Somers and grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the lives of our children. It is an honor to serve SCSD and the greater Somers community and to be part of such an amazing organization.
