• Welcome to Mrs. Gardineer's
    Kindergarten Class!

    August 2019

    Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Welcome!  Your child’s year in kindergarten is about to begin!  I am delighted to be your child’s teacher this year.  I am eager to get to know some of you for the first time and welcome back a few “alumni families”.  I look forward to working with all of you to make this a wonderful year for your child.

Mrs. Sherri Donovan is my teaching assistant and will be a very important person in your child’s day at school.  She will assist me in the classroom and will accompany the children to lunch and recess, as well.

I have also posted a letter from me to your child (if you wish to print) to make it more personal.  We are looking forward to meeting you and your child.  Mrs. Donovan and I will be in the classroom (K2) on Thursday, August 29th from 3:15-4:00 if you would like to stop in for a visit.  We'd love to see you then!

In preparation for our first days, we are asking for a few items in addition to the general kindergarten supplies.  If possible, please bring in all supplies when your child comes for the kindergarten classroom screening visit in September.

    Thank You!

    • 1 additional bottom loading folder (labeled with name)
    • 1 additional box of Crayola markers
    • 6 additional glue sticks
    • 1 pair of anklet socks (to be used for white board erasers )

Thank you in advance for your support and participation.  I look forward to seeing you soon and to a wonderful kindergarten year!

    Warm Regards,

    Jennifer Gardineer

    Student Welcome Letter:

    August 2019

Welcome to Kindergarten at Primrose School!  My name is Mrs. Gardineer and I am going to be your teacher this year.  I am very excited to meet you and am already planning activities for our first days together.

Mrs. Donovan will be your teacher, too.  We are looking forward to meeting you! Primrose is a very happy place where people make new friends and have fun!

Before school begins, you will visit me to play games in your new classroom.  You can ask me questions, explore the classroom, and maybe look at the kindergarten playground.  Our first day of school will be on Friday, September 6th and it will be so much fun!  If you would like to bring a favorite stuffed animal, picture of your family, or something that you treasure to make you feel happy...you are welcome!  I will bring along something special myself!

I hope you are having a fun summer.  See you soon!

    Your new friend,

    Mrs. Gardineer
