GRADUATION NAME VERIFICATION
A diploma name form was sent via ParentSquare on 1/14/22. Please complete this form before January 31st. Your name will appear EXACTLY as you have entered it on the form. If you would like your diploma to read differently than the name announced at graduation, please indicate so on the form.
NOTE: ALL SENIORS MUST VERIFY THEIR INFORMATION IS ACCURATE BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM. YOUR DIPLOMA WILL NOT BE ORDERED UNTIL THE FORM IS RECEIVED.

MR. SOMERS - The annual tradition of Mr. Somers is one of the most anticipated SHS events! This year it is hosted by the class of 2022 student board and emceed by Johnny Crecco and Francesco Gioffre. This year’s events include categories such as formal wear, swimsuit karaoke, talents, pickup lines, and Somers trivia. The contestants will be put to the test and fight for the chance to be crowned Mr. Somers and win free prom tickets.
When: December 17, 2021
Where: Somers High School Auditorium
Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 on a first come-first-serve basis.

Every student needs to place an order for a cap/gown/tassel unit. The price for all items is $47 and can be purchased HERE. The senior "22" photo will be taken 1st period on the turf on Oct. 8th! Wear your senior apparel for color wars that same day!
Distribution of Senior apparel and lanyards will begin this week and continue into next week.
Please sign the permission slip on ParentSquare for the Senior Apple Picking Trip on Friday Oct 1 with a raindate of 10/5. Pizza and water will be served!
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to weather, Senior Sunrise has been moved to Friday, September 3rd at 6AM.
Please fill out this Off-Campus Senior Privilege Application Form if you wold like to apply to be able to leave campus during the middle of the day during lunch or free periods. this privilege applies to Seniors only.
Please lend a helping hand if you can. We've been told that the kids can't paint their spots if we don't provide supervision which means we will have to edit spots, offering fewer opportunities for the students to paint.

IMPORTANT SENIOR PARKING NOTICE
To all incoming Seniors:
If you attended the PTSA sponsored Driver Safety Program in February AND have a valid NYS driver’s license, you may pre-register for a parking space.
1) READ the parking rules document "Parking Rules 21-22.pdf" attached to this post.
2) Complete the FORM attached to this post -- vehicle information, attach a PDF or photo of your license, include Senior student's parent/guardian signature.
We will assign you a parking spot. We will send a message on schoology when your parking tag can be picked up. You will be required to show your driver's license in-person when you pick up your tag.
If you did not attend the PTSA sponsored Driver Safety Program in February, you will have an opportunity to attend the make-up session in September. Completion of the make-up Driver Safety Program and a valid NYS driver’s license are required before we can assign a parking spot to you.
