At Somers CSD, one of our top priorities is strengthening and nurturing connections across our community. We know that a strong partnership between families, schools and the wider community help to create the best possible learning environment for our students.
Throughout the 2025-2026 school year, our focus on Family and Community Engagement, as laid out in our Elements of Excellence, will include:
- Hosting the 3rd Annual Tusker Café community event.
- Ensuring that all families have access to district communications while expanding our outreach strategies.
- Sharing resources with families to support distraction-free learning environments at home and in school.
