FINANCIAL REPORTS AND STATEMENTS
The District Treasurer will keep the Board of Education informed in a timely manner about the financial status of the district. An accurate accounting of school expenditures shall be kept and be presented to the Board at its regular monthly meeting. during the school year. The Assistant Superintendent for Business should highlight any deviation in actual fiscal conditions from planned fiscal conditions and offer recommendations to the Board to remedy the situation.
The district will cooperate with governmental agencies and research organizations as required by law for data concerning the fiscal operations of the district. Additionally, a statement of the financial condition of the school district shall be prepared and published annually in the official newspaper of the district at the close of each fiscal year. *
The District Treasurer will prepare and submit, through the Superintendent, to the Board and the Commissioner of Education, such reports as are prescribed by law.
