BUDGET DEADLINES AND SCHEDULES

The Superintendent of Schools has the responsibility of constructing and adhering to a budget calendar. The calendar shall present a plan of action for estimating and completing preparation of the proposed annual budget in a fixed period of time and will identify necessary budgetary activities and delegate responsibility for performance of each activity. The calendar will also set preliminary dates for hearings with the Board of Education and the public.
