• Welcome to the Somers Tuskers Booster Club webpage!

    “The mission of the Somers Tuskers Booster Club is to create a cohesive and balanced athletic experience for the student-athlete by working together collectively and collaboratively as an athletic family to encourage the personal best for all athletes.”

    Our organization and fundraising efforts support all boys and girls sports teams equally with purchases that enhance current and future programs. Recent purchases include: weight room equipment, Gipper social media platform, portable scoreboards, scoring table and podium, portable sound system equipment, golf cart, a contribution to the new baseball dugouts, college signing day celebrations, hosting a field hockey tournament, tennis banners at Reis Park and the turf 2 scoreboard. We have also contributed to the new mural above the Snack Shack and have installed brick patios near the football field to help enhance our campus.

    The Club awards 4-5 $1,000 scholarships annually to SHS senior athletes who meet our criteria and whose parents are current Club members (beginning with the class of 2016 you must be a 2 year consecutive member). In addition, we award 3-4 "Impact Awards" which range from $250-$500 and are given to senior students or athletes who contribute to the athletic program. Candidates and recipients of these awards will be determined by the Booster Club Scholarship committee, all Varsity coaches, the Athletic Director and school administrators.  

    Your membership fee of $30 each year will enable us to continue our contributions to the Somers athletic programs. Members are invited to attend Club meetings at 7:00 pm on the second Wednesday of every month at the High School. Meetings are also listed on the school calendar. Please consider joining... together we can bring this club to a level that will support Somers evolving athletic program! 

    From 2013-2020, $45,800 has been awarded through Booster Club scholarships.
